Community
Empowering communities beyond the build.
Through the Legacie Foundation, we support three local charities, have raised over £1 million, and have helped more than 500 people across Merseyside. Our community programmes are not CSR — they are central to who we are.
A fundraising initiative improving local lives.
The Legacie Foundation is our commitment to giving back to the communities that surround and support our developments. We carefully select three charity partners each year and dedicate meaningful resources — financial and human — to helping them achieve their missions.
Employees receive paid annual time to volunteer, and our "Give Something Back" fundraising days bring the whole company together around causes that matter. Since launching the Foundation, we have raised and committed over £1 million — including a £250,000 donation in December 2025, our largest single contribution to date.
Second Chance Scheme
Since 2016, the Second Chance Scheme has provided construction training and career development for ex-offenders — people who deserve an opportunity to rebuild their lives and contribute meaningfully to society.
To date, 50 prison leavers have passed through the programme. Many have progressed to permanent positions within the Legacie group or with our subcontractor network, reducing reoffending rates and building a more diverse, resilient workforce.
Success Story
Danny Wilson — Construction Manager
Joined Legacie through the Second Chance Scheme and has progressed to a full Construction Manager role — overseeing the delivery of significant residential schemes in Liverpool.
Success Story

Another Second Chance graduate who now leads his own site team, demonstrating the transformative potential of the programme for individuals and the industry alike.
"The Second Chance Scheme has changed my life. Legacie gave me an opportunity when no one else would."
